Once upon a time (okay, fine—just last Tuesday there was a girl with a backpack full of dreams and a heart full of wanderlust and she decided she wanted to change the world. not in a "let's overthrow the government, yes!" kind of way (although let's be honest, some supply chains really could use a revolution, ) 😉 but in a, "let's make ethical sourcing sexy!" kind of way. That girl was me. Valentina Grace Donovan-Your Local Friendly Sustainable Supply Chain Specialist with more stamps in my passport than a frequent flyer has on his loyalty card.

Can you imagine? A sunset in Bali, the smell of frangipani in the air and me running barefoot and laughing and taking notes on how to convince this coffee farmer in Colombia to stop using pesticides. That is seriously my life. Equal parts globe trotting adventurer and eco-warrior, with a little bit of "how did I end up in this remote village eating this thing that is so delicious but I have absolutely no idea what it is?" chaos. 🌿✈️

I am not some corporate sustainability expert or anything. I was just a girl who loved travel a little too much and hated waste a lot. I studied environmental science, and somehow, had three different romance-flings and learned to speak three languages (sorry mom) as a result, and came to a singular conclusion: the biggest issues plaguing our world are often hidden in plain sight-in the things we buy. And now? I fix broken supply chains. I party-dance with farmers in Kenya; I barter with textile artisans in India; and I drink way too much tea with clothing factory owners in Vietnam to ensure that your favourite brands are not secretly destroying the planet.

So here is my ultimate mission: To prove that sustainability is not boring. It can be wild and messy and worth it. So fasten your seatbelt darling. We are going on an adventure- one ethical purchase at a time. 🌎💚
